I once fed a zebra at the Cairo Zoo. No ill effects. It was a thrilling day.

I hear that Grevy's zebra in particular is an adept little roping equine, and can herd gnus into cowering beards of submission while barrel racing around Waiyaki Way fig trees. I think all the gnuboy riders have been little white birds, though. xx

How neat to see the zebra and wildebeest migration! Migrations are a source of wonder; how the animals do them year after year after year.

Another informative adventure story, Mary Dansak! Your styles (I don’t think you just have a one size fits all manner of delivery) get my attention. My brain has pack rat tendencies. Seems wired to search for more information on a person’s presentation.

Last, your mentioning that Tennessee requires a permit for having white-tailed dear bubbled up a thought on Chronic Wasting Disease in deer. Maybe some others.

Time for me to check TN’s regulations on possessing white-tailed deer. Thanks so much Mary Dansak.

The first time I saw a zebra I was amazed at how much like a horse it was. Just a black & white horse! :)
